North Sound Boilers and Radiant

Our 12-year old Triangle Tube boiler died recently and we contacted David at North Sound. Within 7 days he sent us an estimate and came to our Whidbey Island home to do the work. The work took about 7 hours on day1 and 5 hours on day2. He used an IBC boiler and pretty much replaced ~90% of the old boiler stem (pumps, tanks, lines, etc.) Dave seems to have the competence you would need with such a relatively complex system. Definitely not amateur hour with your gas/propane line, ignition and high temperatures and your water line all converging into this system. Potential for a down wind disaster. I did not shop around as we had used David for prior maintenance and his reviews are excellent. It definitely is not inexpensive - more than my used car cost. David came prepared with all t

David is very knowledgeable, trustworthy, and efficient. He’s worked on a couple different issues for us at different houses: an old boiler system and a newer radiant heat system. I feel lucky to have found him as these repairs/systems aren’t cheap, but you know you’re getting your value with David.

If you need work done on a boiler, I don't think you'll find a better option than David. Our Navien combi-boiler developed a small leak and he came out promptly to assess the situation. He was one of 3 plumbers we had provide an estimate, and he was by far the best overall option. 1. He is super knowledgable and does the work himself. The other companies sent sales people. 2. He is detail oriented and actually cares about the work he does. Just look at the pictures on his website. 3. He provided both a repair and replace option and actually guided us towards the repair option. The other companies pushed the much more expensive replacement option and provided what seemed like very flimsy justification. 4. I never write reviews, but David deserves one. We have an old system that we have slowly updated with new radiators as well as a couple trouble shooting calls (our system is ~120 yrs old, for reference). David is economical, timely, nice and clearly takes pride in his work. At one point, during an installation of a radiator, there was a moderate snag in our carpet that David immediately compensated us for and we had it repaired within a week. His accountability really stood out. I cannot recommend him enough for any of your boiler servicing.
