We have used Northern Virginia Air Conditioning for most of the time since we moved to Virginia in 1995. The service was good until 2025 - when trying to schedule our spring AC check that we pay for with our annual service plan, no one from scheduling ever called back. Multiple calls later where we repetitively gave our name and address no one ever called back. The person answering the phone was clueless like we never existed. We finally gave up and called another HVAC contractor, paid for their service plan and got an AC check up within two weeks. A month and a half later we have never gotten a call back from NOVAAC, and we have forfeited the spring checkup we had already paid for. We have been using this company for more 15 years. Always prompt and courteous. They always show in the given time windows. Staff explains things well during their regular six-month service contract inspections and gives fair pricing for needed repairs. We worked with Jeremiah today who did the inspection of our two units, fixed a few minor issues under our service contract, and flagged an issue that would need attention in next year or so. He explained the issue clearly, outlined the options and the risk involved in delay, and was able to install the new part on this visit, since supplies were on the truck. Jeremiah is a solid professional as are everyone that we have worked with at NVAC.

Agree with the drop in service quality. Has not been the same since Tonya left. They won't return calls or emails now. Sad because they were a good hvac company until recently.

Eric came out to check my unit. In the process he discovered a serious electrical issue. He took the time to identify the issue, explain what what happening and tell me what my next steps should be. He was polite, patient and helpful. I've been using this company for the last 3 years to maintain my HVAC system and I've always had good experiences. I will say Eric's customer service goes above and beyond though.

I just had my first experience as a true homeowner and had an issue with my AC. Nguyen came to my condo and was very honest about not being familiar with the system but did an in depth look into everything he could. Then Tonya took the time to try to find the part I needed and communicated everything. I really appreciate the amazing customer service throughout the entire experience. Tonya is very professional and these days that is hard to find.
