Nutmeg Tree Service and Ground Care

Owner came out and gave me a quote. Price was great. Two day job. His crew were super respectful. Equipment was used but maintained, watching them work, they were safe. They knew how to do their jobs. No half-@$$ corner cutting anywhere in their operation. Extremely pleased.

We had a crab apple tree taken down + other tree trimming services on our property + had the stumps removed. Ken and crew did a wonderful job from start to finish including cleaning up the site. In addition, Ken also quickly dropped a message when he found out he is running late from another appointment. Good communication and customer service. The estimate process was fair and professionally done via email..etc. I would recommend Nutmeg tree service to others.

We had an 80' tall silver maple that needed to come down. Got estimates from several outfits, and a couple of them admitted that the tree was 'out of their comfort range.' Ken and his crew showed up on time on the scheduled day. Bucket truck, chipper, two dump trucks, pickup with attached trailer and payloader. The gentleman in the bucket was, literally, a tree surgeon. He planned every cut and every branch fell where it was supposed to. There was a neighbor's garage under portion of the tree and nothing ever touched it. The ground crew was diligent and worked hard every minute, collecting branches, some 20 feet long and weighing hundreds and hundreds of pounds, dragging and feeding them into the chipper. Chris was easy to communicate with, gave me a time line and stuck to it 100%. He removed 2 trees and 3 stumps. Prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend him for your tree services!!

Chris is great. I called them to come out and check out a tree in my yard that looked like it could fall on my house if a big storm came, he took a look and let me know the tree was healthy and likely wouldn't cause a problem for me. Instead of trying to make a quick buck off me he was honest, direct and no-nonsense. I will definitely hire these guys in the future!
