This store is nothing like it used to be. Checked the website for the product I needed. Went to the store, the product I looked at online was not on display. Thankfully, I was able to get what I needed. Nobody asked if they could help me. Not one employee.

Made a special trip in poor weather to pick up my wife paper for her job. The store had a a large sign that stated 3 reams of paper for 11.99 . I chose to purchase two three count bundles of them. When I was at checkout the clerk told me that price was for a paid rewards program and that the price would be double if I read the small print. I asked them if there was anything they could do because I made the trip and did not choose to order from Amazon for the 11.99 price. They basically told me to kick rocks, even the store manager told me they could not do anything. I told them no wonder your stores are closing and are always empty, and I'll never come back. I got home and ordered the paper next day from Amazon. They never even offered to do anything.

Always someone around to help. They honor the online prices which are cheaper for some reason: you just have to ask.

We /were unable to utilize Visa and Mastercard gift prepaid debit cards on line. Using them on line required that the item being purchased was less than the amount on the cards as they are not attached to a "bank". Also multiple gift cards cannot be applied to a single purchase total: $250 in gift cards against a $400 purchase. Justin at Office Depot said to come into the store and this could be done easily at the register. Justin not only assisted us in finding an alternative product at a higher retail for the one that was out of stock, he also gave us the on-line sale price and processed two of our gift cards against the purchase. Bravo for Brick/mortar stores and live personnel!

It's nice that the store is close by and I can run in and get my items. However, if you go online first, and mark that you will come in and pick up the items, you will save money. I would have saved $25 yesterday if I would have done that first. I need to remember that the next time I need printer ink.
