Paint the Town

Several years ago, we contacted Mr. Knott to get an estimate for painting our deck. He gave a total dollar estimate. We said we were interested in using his business. He said he needed a $200 payment which would apply to his completed work on the deck. Shame on us for sending the "payment" - When I called multiple times to ask when the project would be started, I did not get return calls. Finally we spoke to him and got a runaround and never heard from him again. Over six months later, I sent him an e-mail requesting he return the $200, as no work was done and he had cashed the check. There was no reply and a year later we had the needed work done by another company.

Jim did an excellent job painting our home (a bedroom, living room and deck). As a one-person operation, he were meticulous, taking great care to tape everything properly and avoid any splatters. Their attention to detail really showed in the final result. On top of that, they were incredibly kind and patient with our very grumpy/territorial dog who barked a lot at him, which we truly appreciated. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a skilled and considerate painter!

Jim has painted the exterior of my home in West Seattle twice, my bamboo fence twice, my decks several times (along with repairing them) and the interior of my home once. He and his crew have done an excellent job each time. The finished jobs have always met my expectations, and he is a careful and meticulous craftsman. We have had Jim Knott paint two houses for us, both interior and exterior. Jim does quality work, is easy to work with, and his prices are reasonable. Your can't go wrong with having Paint the Town do your work!

I have used Paint the Town twice to paint my house, both inside and outside and they did a great job. Conscience with great customer service. If you ever had an issue Jim addressed it right away. I would Definitely use them again.
