After researching several HVAC companies in the Waynesville NC area, we chose Parkway Heating & Air, a family-owned business, to install a Mitsubishi mini split in our finished basement. We are so glad we did! Just wanted to put a shout out to Parkway Heating & Cooling! Dave & Brandon are not only friendly & super guys but great technicians! We called them to inspect & clean our gas fireplace as we had an extensive amount of soot building up. They did a thorough inspection. Took unit completely apart, wire brushed the burner holes, replaced a couple parts, added steel wool & adjusted the flame to burn properly. They went outside, hiked thru the snow to inspect the exhaust, added a pipe extension, as it was not connected & cleaned out the exhaust vent where they found a nest & dead bird inside. Truly caring for our safety by going above & beyond. We highly recommend as they have earned our trust so much so that we will be having our furnace replaced by them soon. Travis was the most honest and qualified tech I have ever had experienced. He quickly diagnosed my furnace problems and suggested a solution that worked out perfectly. My furnace is an older model and he could have easily convinced me to by new. He of course mentioned that as an option but reminded me of the merits of continuing the use of a well made unit and the lesser expense in pursuing that action. I went with the repair and I am so satisfied with the results, we just spent the last three weeks in 40 degree temps having a quiet and comfortably warm experience. Wonderful. 4 PM and furnace was out. Called the usual guy and they were closed. travis from Parkway came up in about 45 minutes, and quickly diagnosed the problem. Parkway is now our go-to heating company.
