There is a reason that Pasadena Lock Shop has been around for over ninety years. It's because they're experts at what they do! This mid-century modern secretary had been locked, with no key. Steve Curren, the owner and 3rd generation of his family running the shop, looked at the photos I sent and noted that the lower part of the secretary was open. He then instructed me on how to remove the lock mechanism without damaging the wood, thinking that a key to the bottom, which I did not have, might open the top lock, something I hadn't even considered. I then brought the lock to his shop, where he looked at it and told me that if he had come to the house, he would not have been able to open the lock, but now having the lock in his shop, if I gave him a day or two, he could make key, that hopef

They really went far and beyond what any other company would . Really had way More patience than expected . Could have charged a lot more money for what they did for me with my out of town problems .
