I requested a quote to replace the motor in my Carrier ductless indoor unit. Before calling, I had done some research and found that most companies charge around $450–$550 for the labor, since the unit was still under warranty and the part itself was covered. After the technician came out for the diagnostic, I received an estimate for $972. The additional cost came from a proposed $525 charge to remove and clean the blower wheel and clean the coil. However, the blower wheel needed to be removed anyway in order to replace the motor, and the coil did not appear to need cleaning. Everyone I interacted with was very friendly — the office staff were helpful and the technician was great to deal with. From the first time I called and spoke with Amanda in the office and each interaction I have had with the team on each visit, they are professional, courteous, patient, and most importantly, knowledgeable! They have done routine maintenance, installed expanded ductwork and even most recently came out to troubleshoot a problem. Note: This is the 2nd HVAC company I have worked with since moving to this area, and I will just say that this company out ranks the competition by a couple of stars at least! Thank you!!

Paul's Heating and Air is the only HVAC company we will use from now on. We had a new HVAC system installed improperly by another company a few years ago, and it had never heated or cooled properly. After mutiple attempts to get it running right, that company went out of business. We then had multiple other companies come by, but any fixes they managed were brief at best. Finally, I found Paul's, hoping for a different result. They sent out their technician Scott Fowler, and he quickly diagnosed the underlying issues and explained everything. He fixed it all the same visit and ended up saving us a fortune by not needing to replace anything. We were cautiously optimistic as the system began working perfectly.
