Pence Septic Systems

Called to have septic tank emptied. Because it was not an emergency, we were given the option of when to schedule the procedure. Receptionist answered our questions and even called to remind us of our appointment. The two young men were polite and answered all of our questions. They worked and worked to find our tank. The sod was removed, tank was drained, tank was resealed, and sod placed back into yard. He even put our hose back where it belongs. The was the second time we have used Pence because we know we can depend on them. Thank You!

We called Pence because we were having some unique issues with our septic tank. The office went above and beyond to help us figure out the issue. The two techs that arrive to pump our systems were wonderful. They were very respectful and quickly got to work. When I say quickly I couldn’t believe they had pumped both tanks and were just smoothing the last of the dirt back over the tank lid before I finished my iced coffee. The entire way through the process they answered questions and gave tips on septic system care. Pence should be proud to have employees like them representing the company and dealing directly with the public.

Pence put in our drain field in our new build, after a year we started having trouble with water backing up into the house, we had someone come out and drain the septic tank, but it just started happening again a couple months later. Dealt with it for a while and just made sure we used as little water as possible. There are only 3 people in our house so that shouldn't have been happening. Finally got drain mechanics out to do a full inspection and they said the drain field was put in improperly. The drain field is supposed to sit on and be surrounded by a specific type of sand. Drain mechanics said pence cheaped out and used junk dirt and maybe a little sand, but in their words, what pence used turned to "concrete". The drain field could not drain. So we started with a mostly empty drain

I felt the need to warn others about this company. Other reviews I see also has had issues. They put in a new tank, and drain field. Drain field collapse a bit over a year. Bad on us for not taking note of the one year warranty seriously. They would not take any responsibility, and would not work with us. It was a lot of money, and we had to do it all over again. Was just hoping they would of meant us halfway. Lol don’t be fooled that they have been in business forever, and that makes them the best. We had to get someone else to fix it with a 10 year warranty. They were amazing! Fair and care. Most companies have at least a 3 year warranty. Making appointment was quick and easy. Asked for next day service and work was completed before their start time promised. The driver was the lead person with a helper. The driver was very professional and did the work exactly as I expected. Respectful of property and friendly. This company has been around a long time and they know their business. I would have them again.
