Penn Square Garage

Seemed safe and plenty of parking during the day. Stairs smelled like urine and cigarettes.

Clean, safe garage in the heart of Lancaster. Gets pretty full depending on what’s going on at the Marriott convention center. Rooftop has good 360 views of downtown. 2nd floor has access to the Marriott lobby. There are two entrances to this garage. Remember to take your ticket with you to get validated at the hotel front desk.

The first 2 floors are reserved for hotel guests but there were so many empty ones. You'd think there'd be a better way to free up spaces not being used. The signs are really not helpful for guiding you to where you're trying to exit. Could definitely use better info. The people at the booth were nice.

Nice to use because its close to my work, however one of the most frustrating things is that alot of people have to be "that guy" and park their car in 2 spots and when it's full enough its very difficult to find a spot, especially when the garage does not do anything to enforce parking correctly. Also there is no "cardholder" parking aside from the bottom level which can fill up very quickly so paying 70$ and having to park on the roof makes it feel like you get ripped off.

It's annoying so many empty spaces are saved for the hotel. It's dark at night. The elevator was dirty. The directions at the stairwell were confusing about what floor to exit on for East King Street access. All of this for a $5 parking fee. But it is a convenient location.
