Easy to get in and get what we needed. Friendly staff. Much better than the local competitors

We have always had great experiences with People's. When we have rented large tools, the employees have been very helpful, even pointing out other tools that may work better. The Hardware store is equally good. It has the feel of the neighborhood Hardware store. Many times, while working on our old house, we've needed assistance (actually mostly advice) with the latest project, and they have always come through for us. They even repair the old windows, for those that want to repair rather than replace.

Everyone here is incredibly friendly. I had to get some keys cut today and the man who helped me (I believe his name was Bill) was the nicest person. He greeted me at the door and walked me back to where the keys were cut. He had a smile on his face and laughed and joked with everyone while he worked. I had tried a larger store in town and was basically dismissed with a word because it was an older style of key I needed. But People's had the correct key ( a much larger selection in general) and they were more than happy to help me out.

On July 14, I took in three, hail damaged window screens to be repaired. I thought it would be several days before they would be done. Instead, Bill, the man who does the repairing, did an excellent job and had the screens finished the next day on July 15. If you have hail damaged window screens, this is THE place to go.

It seems as if the employees are the same ones that worked there when I was little. Well a couple of them still anyhow. All-around STILL a great place to go for excellent service,great products, and friendly faces. Sure beats Lowe's , Walmart, and Mynards!!!
