Perrault Construction

Edit: The owner reached out to me right away and asked if they could fix things. As I understand it, the crew that did it is not an “in-house” crew. They have been wonderful about fixing all the mistakes, gaps and bad cuts/boards. We are very happy about the response to our issues and their willingness to make it right. We’re still disappointed about the extra costs of gutters and internal water damage, but we understand sometimes things happen. Perrault installed siding on our home and garage last summer. The cuts and gaps in the siding panels are awful. They’re chipped from the saw in many places. They filled a lot of large gaps with a ton of caulk. They also got blue paint all over the white trim. We experienced a catastrophic roof failure while we were away for a week. By the time we returned large parts of ceiling were on the floor, water was leaking in from many locations, and all of our flooring, and most of our furniture, were badly damaged. Even several walls needed to be replaced. Because of roofing and decking materials used in this 1950s flat roof, it was a complicated rebuild. Structural elements needed replacement, as well as sheet rock, mahogany wall panels, electrical…the list is extensive. As stressful as the rebuild was, Perrault did their very best to ease our stress. They stayed in contact frequently (we had to move out), and kept things on budget without sacrificing quality. Had 2nd-floor deck reinstalled following replacement of flat roof (by another company). Perrault able to reuse railings and most of decking from previous deck as we requested. Good communication with us for the most part. Lost one star because when deck was 95% reinstalled, work just stopped. After a few weeks we called about the delay, learning only then that the construction team was waiting for a couple of custom-fit boards to be manufactured. Overall, however, now that the work is finished we are very pleased with our "new" deck, and would recommend Perrault to others.

Perrault was great to work with for our roof replacement! Julie and Jake were both very helpful during the whole process. We were extremely pleased with the quality of work, how quickly it was done, and the crew did an excellent job of cleaning up after.

New siding from 1906 is certainly not available. So the carpenter from Perrault used his saw and router to create over 100 linear feet of matching siding. All was painted and looks better than 2002, when I bought the house. Thanks, Perrault Construction!
