Did business with this company and they ripped my family off. The several issues I’ve encountered they destroyed my oil tank then tell me the oil tank my family wants is not going to fit and installed a extremely more expensive one behind our backs making my family feel obligated to sign it because they couldn’t be left without an oil tank they said it was dangerous to not have a oil tank installed. Customer care is terrible. I attempted to close my account and have someone resolve the issues we’ve encountered, and for four months, they said they were investigating, and for some reason, no one can close my account either. Every time I would call they would be confused and say that we never called even though I have call logs. I finally spoke to the general manager and told him my issues,

First year was fine with them. Second year they sent someone to the house for the furnace service that I paid for, he walked into my house door without knocking while my 3 year old was on the potty in the corner of the house, visible to him. Petro did take care of that situation with him.. 3rd year started noticing the price difference between them, other companies and the state average. 4th year while I was paying $900 everyone else was paying 400 or 500. Started looking for another company. Had an appointment for June for my furnace tuneup like all other years that I paid for and then they tell me that "there was no appointment in the system and since I'm no longer a customer they won't honor the tuneup service that I paid for which was over $400. They ARE THIEVES THEY ARE OVERLY PRICED!

I just purchased a house and made the big mistake of not checking oil level... And ran out while trying to paint the house before we moved in. I called Petro to get pricing Information and to see if they could come out that day. Although the sales pitch was long and I felt pressured, they did get someone out later that day to look at our furnace and put enough oil in to hold us over until they could fill it up. The tech was great and offered us tips and information. I also loved the email letting me know tech was on his way and the site that let me see good ETA and track his location. I think I will be signing on with Petro!

Thank you so much to the service person (I’m so sorry I can’t remember his name) that came out to get my boiler running again and hot water flowing again. We just bought this house about 7 months ago and really had no idea what to expect with the older boiler. I’m so happy I bought the service contract because it really saved me a ton of money. My experiences with customer service have been outstanding and the technician that came out today answered all of my questions (and I had quite a few). Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

We've done business with Petro for years, and have always been very pleased with their service. Last week, the thermostat just suddenly wasn't working properly. Everything had been fine, and then when I came home after an evening out and turned up the thermostat, I got nothing. No heat, no fan, no nothing. And it was cold! I called the next morning and they sent out a technician who fixed the problem. Beyond that, he explained what had happened and showed me how to troubleshoot any future problems. Would recommend Petro Home Services to anyone who asked! Thanks!
