After moving into my new home in New Hartford, I quickly realized I did not have the room to process, season, and store my firewood. I contacted Jay at Ultimate. They gave me a quote. At first I thought it was high but after review and additional quotes, I realized it was more than fair. Jay assigned Chris to the job of flattening a wide area of my lot, which was sloped at about 3:1. What a great job he did. Removed a sizable maple as part of the project and left me the logs for future firewood. I did not think the area I was getting was going to be as large as it was. Nice surprise. I had reached out on Facebook for recommendations for a local contractor that installs dry wells for water softeners per state law and the responses were numerous. Ultimate Excavation was by far the most recommended and Jay responded immediately with contact information. After speaking with Jay on-site I was happy with his recommendations and pricing. Jay and his crew were exceptional and arrived on on time and got right to work. The excavation included the removal of several large boulders and soil to make room for the new dry well. After the job was completed Jay cleaned up the area, loaded the boulders and soil into his trailer, brought in a load of topsoil and spread it over the area and seeded. We reached out to Ultimate Excavation to have a portion of our backyard leveled before putting in a fence. They were prompt and efficient - they also worked with our fence contractor’s schedule to hydroseed the work area after the fence was out in. We also had a patio put in the backyard and they also hydroseeded around the patio which was amazing. We will be using them again in the future and highly recommend them!
