Phillips Masonry

We had an excellent experience working with Phillips Masonry on our chimney repair. Several bricks had fallen from the top of our chimney, and they not only rebuilt the top layers beautifully, but also repaired our chimney cap and repointed the surrounding brick on our home. The quality of their work is outstanding! They were extremely communicative, professional, and prompt from start to finish. We really appreciated how thoroughly everything was explained to us throughout the process—no surprises, just honest and clear information. It’s rare to find a contractor who combines craftsmanship, reliability, and great customer service, and they exceeded our expectations in all three. We highly recommend them!

Do NOT take the recommendation to work with Andrew Rambo under any circumstances. Worked with Clarke. He was upfront and communicative, but he pressured me into signing the contract before I could get additional quotes. After the fact I found out the project he charged me over $20k for should have been about half that at most based on a second opinion. Plus he had me hire his friend Andrew Rambo at Handy Andy Construction LLC on short notice to do supplementary work for another $9k. Again, DO NOT hire Andrew Rambo Handy Andy Construction LLC. I cannot share details on why while the dispute is still pending, just don't do it. Clarke was fantastic from start to finish. He kept in communication and gave me a very fair price. Brandon showed up a day early and he was able to fix my chimney after a job gone bad. He made it look better than I could have hoped for. It was very clear that he took pride in his workmanship and kept my house and yard clean throughout. He also patched up some areas around my house. Thoroughly impressed with the home project that was planned and executed by Phillips Masonry. From scoping, to delivery, to clean up - everything exceeded my expectations. The price was fair, the crew was professional and easy to work with, and each were able to work with autonomy. I didn't at any point feel the need to check in and make sure the project was on track. The house was repointed front to back, a chimney cap was created, and I was given many opportunities to view the team's progress. When I hire companies to perform this type of work, clean up is often lacking. Here, things are cleaner than when they started. Very friendly crew as well with smiles all around.
