PittMoss

I just recently bought a bag of this from Chapons Greenhouse & the entire bag was molded out with some species of Dactylium. I have been farming personally and commercially for quite a while and have always utilized peat as an amendment for the rudimentary mineral content, microbial populations, and water retention. To be clear, this is not peat moss and does not resemble it in the slightest. I would not recommend this product to any business or personal gardener. This company needs to share publicly the actual analytical tests for their product(s) so the consumer knows what they’re purchasing.

Absolutely hands down one of the best customer service interactions I have ever had. My boyfriend and I have ordered a hand full of times in the last 2 months and almost every order was perfect. When we had a small issue with the packaging of one specific order PitMoss was not only quick in helping us get a new order but incredibly friendly throughout the interaction. We have found that PittMoss is far better than the big box potting mix we were previously using. The quality of the products are superb. I would highly recommend PitMoss to anyone!

I purchased a bag of the organic potting mix. I re-potted a house plant in it and I am very happy with the product. It is most certainly unlike any other soil on the market. If you're on the fence, give it a try.
