What a great company! I decided to use Pike Paving after I saw the great reviews online. John was very professional and efficient. My driveway was a mess. I thought it was going to have to be broken up and replaced. John and his crew cleaned up and paved the driveway, added a drainage pipe and an additional section for parking. I hired Pike Paving & Excavation, working directly with John, to resurface and repair cracks in my driveway. I chose this company based on its high Google rating. That rating did not reflect my experience. From the beginning, the pricing raised red flags. The initial quote was significantly higher than expected for the scope of work and only came down after I pushed back. During these discussions, it was made clear that this was a second home and that I live in NYC, which made the pricing feel opportunistic rather than transparent. On the day of the job, the crew was supposed to arrive around 2–3 PM. I waited most of the afternoon and repeatedly called to ask when they would be there. This month 2025, I was mowing the lawn when John stopped and asked if I wanted my chipped driveway resurfaced. It turned out he already had a few other jobs lined up in the neighborhood. In fact, I had other priorities over the driveway, but he stepped in, measured the driveway and offered me a deal I couldn't refuse.
