My daughter’s central AC stopped working in her half of our duplex on a Friday . She called Platt’s and Rob came out first thing Sunday morning! He repaired her air handler blower and the AC is back on again. Amazing service by Rob and at a reasonable price. He went above and beyond to fix the blower mount, when I’m sure most other companies (and I know from experience) would not have taken the time. I will definitely recommend this company and have already told Rob that I will call them for future maintenance and service of our 2 other units and other family members home’s service. I really wanted to like this company, but nope. Their prices are high and the service you get isn’t worth it. Eg Their flat rate “diagnostic” call is $150 and takes about 15 minutes, which multiplies out to $600/hr. If you balk, they’ll walk. If you question their rates they’ll become defensive and dismissive, (as if they’re being victimized by the consumer!) They made such a bad impression that I took the time to write this review. My business degree and years of experience in finance, investing and project management have taught me that Supply and Demand govern every free market. AND that makes me able to spot a really bad deal when I see one. When I called it out they got real PISSED, real FAST. We have had our AC/Heat serviced with Platt for several years and they always provide excellent service . I know they have been really busy with Hurricane Milton , but when my AC thermostat broke , they came out the very next morning. My technician was Dalton. He was polite and extremely competent. He was able to install my new smart thermostat and help me get on line (I don't have the highest tech skills lol). My house is cool and I am a very happy and appreciative customer.

I would never recommend this company for anything. I’ve spent over $10,000 for Air conditioning systems for my home. I purchased a split system for my mother-in-law suite in the main system for my Main house. They installed the split system first in a newly redecorated and remodeled space with clean paint and new floors everything. The installer they sent installed the system incorrectly and water came through my ceilings Damaging the newly painted ceilings, leaving watermarks. The next day I called the company and explained to them what was happening and they sent another technician. That technician informed us that the entire system was installed in properly and was just pouring water through our ceiling. They did get it fixed and got the system working, but never mentioned paying for t

Update: Called customer service per their request. Spoke to them and they were genuinely concerned for missing the requested quote for a new ac system. Called. Customer support woman on the phone was super nice she took and confirmed all my contact info. No one ever followed up with me. Business must be booming.
