Poor Paul's Paving

Excellent group of stand up guys. Not often do you find good folks like them in this industry. I needed to level out my parking lot to allow entry to my shop. Out of 4 bids, they were the cheapest and by far the most responsive. Specifically James. He’s a straight shooter and kept his word throughout the entire process. I normally rely on reviews when purchasing or finding someone to do work for me. This is the only reason i'm posting this review. While the process was pretty straight forward, the quality of the work is mediocre at best. My road was paved by these guys and the entire road is super BUMPY from end to end. A dirt bike track is smooth in comparison. Long story short, the crew added additional base to what i already had and explained to me that it would be adequate After i continuously called to complain about how bumpy the road was they came back a few months later and tried to patch over a certain section of the road but it didn't do much to make it better. Had a great experience with Poor Paul's Paving. James was informative, and his crew worked diligently to complete our project; and their price was cheaper than most of the bids we received. We did a combination of asphalt for our parking areas, and decomposed granite for the length of our 400 foot drive. The end product looks great, and plan to use them again in the future. When I decided to asphalt my drive and parking I contacted Poor Paul's Paving I was looking for a company of quality, knowledgeable and honest. I spoke with James who came across as having these assets. He made an appointment for the same day and promptly called on me to go over my project. I was impressed with his hands on work and material uses from grading. Basing and installing asphalt surfacing. I am fully enjoying my new surface and the price was affordable. My job wasn't extremely large but it was handled like it was a large road. Many thanks for the great care taken with my project. They will be on my call again list.
