Absolutely stunning view!! Beautifully built Boardwalk with a 4 story tower for elevated views. I saw a few people getting some fishing in and plenty of people walking and jogging through. It's definitely a place for sunrise and sunset viewing, and it's recommended for the whole family (yes, dog included). Also, don't forget to get the amazing photo of MCRD Parris Island. The water tower is the landmark.
A good place to go when you just need to think. Peaceful place. Nice view.
Since we were only in the area a couple of days we did check out the Port Royal Boardwalk and Observation Tower. It is currently closed due to extensive damage during Hurricane Helene in September 2024. It looks like a great view and experience on the water when it is open. Hope repairs come easily.
This boardwalk and observation tower offers a beautiful view of the sournding beach, waterfront, and marsh. It is an awesome spot to watch the sunset and a great place to take a sort stroll on the beach to find some shark teeth and shells.
