Nightmare contractor!!! Used at the recommendation of my pool company. He could have burned our house down. Showed up and did a bunch of the work and insisted on being paid in full. Mistake, I should have never paid the balance on his word. Instead we were ghosted for weeks and found out that he used wrong materials, had multiple gas leaks and could have had an explosion since he never installed a pressure valve next to the gas heater. We paid him over $10,000 and he never finished the job, leaving wires open and unprotected and costing us over an extra $1200 to fix his mistakes. The pool company is aware of his track record and still refers him. DO NOT USE THIS GUY!!!

Where do I begin??? This was a nightmare experience working with a contractor who doesn't complete the job, highly overpriced and extremely poor communicator. Paul Sakalauskas, owner of Powerline Electric LLC was referred to us by our pool company, Ordini's Best Fiberglass pools. We had a new pool installed on May 25, 2022 and Paul installed the electric for the pool equipment, automation, propane heater, salt generator and future electric at a cost of $9,400. He started the job June 8 and wasn't finished September 24th. He was called back 4 times and often sent a worker who was not an electrician. His voice mail is always full and he doesn't return calls. Paul was FANTASTIC! We hired him through the Pool Installers company to run all the electrical, data, and ground wiring for our new pool. While we had a horrible experience with the main pool excavation/installation company (superior pools), Paul's electrical work was one of the shining beams of workmanship in the process. Also he is one of the VERY few electricians in PA who has experience with running either electrical or gas lines to the pool heater, and he is an expert with setting up data lines for the pool automation systems too. He really did the impossible and knocked the entire project in one day, worked 12 hours nonstop with his group to get the pool lights, pump, blower, heater and automation system fully wired to the subpanel, dug all the trenches needed and ran all the wires

**UPDATE** Since posting this review Powerline Electric did come out and finish the work needed. We used Powerline Electric for running electric to a pool, pool bonding, hot tub line, and running electric for a generator. It took a month post pool install to get them out as it was hard getting Paul to commit to a date. Powerline Electric came out Dec 2 2020 and did most of the work but couldn’t complete one part due to a “backordered part.” We needed the inspector to look at pool electric line and okay so he asked for full payment and said would be back following week post inspection and BO part coming in. That was now two months ago he ignores our messages or in the rare instance answers his phone says he’ll check his schedule and get back and never does. BEWARE of this contractor and do

Powerline Electric was the contractor used by my pool company. I wish I knew their reputation before paying them in full after my pool was installed, before final inspection by the township. Part of the electrical work was not approved by the township and I have been trying to get them back to fix what is wrong. I spoke to Paul S. and he insists the inspectors are wrong and that he would speak with them to correct. I have called, texted, and emailed to follow-up and get no response. I have reached out to other electricians and have been told that they don’t want to get involved. I have filed a complaint with the BBB. My next step will be to file suit.
