When we lost out on an offer for a house with more square footage we called 3 companies for bids. The first told us the starting price for just digging out a basement would come to $600k!!! We didn’t even invite them for a quote. The other of the 3 came in at a jaw dropping quote (less then the first) but when they saw our reaction they quickly came down to half the price and had a really scary 80/20 very vague warranty. Phil and Marcia came out to see us, set expectations for the process and came back with a quote we totally expected for our project - and a warranty that is what I would expect from a company who stands behind their work.
