Really BAD communication. We had a small kitchen fire, and the insurance company paid to have wall paintings cleaned. When Cesani Arts came to pick up the artwork for cleaning, I indicated on the paperwork they asked me to sign that everything needed to be back by a certain date, due to some personal commitments. When I called to confirm that everything was coming back a few days before the due date, I was informed that they had a 3-4 month lead time and never got approval for the cleaning. Nobody tried to contact me with that information. In fact, David, the manager who I finally spoke with, said that they would not normally talk with the owner because some insurance companies do not want them talking to the property owners!! I've had many items repaired here, always dealing with Aliza. The work done, from the fairly simple to a little more complex, has been done well. On one occaison, her recommendation was for me NOT to do what I had asked. On balance, this is good place for all kinds of art, etc. repairs and restoration. Their charges are usually quite reasonable. I expect to be availing myself of their services many times yet to come.
