Rafael and his crew are amazing skilled craftsmen. They built gorgeous stacked stone walls for my English Courtyard. Rafael made every step of this process easy and completed the job in a timely fashion. I appreciated how the crew cleaned up after themselves. I’m very pleased with the final outcome and highly recommend Rafael!

Raphael came highly recommended by a few contractors I know. He was extremely communicative from the start. Straight forward, honest, and fairly and transparently priced. We hired him to repair and waterproof a chimney on a home purchased by a family member. He worked well with the roofing company who was trying to coordinate with him as well as plan around weather. He ran into some concerning issues during the project and he walked me through everything and was very forthright about costs and different solutions. I appreciate that he delivered the bad news up front and was helpful in deciding on a course of action. I am so relieved I found RA Masonry and highly recommend him to anyone looking for brick work. This company is terrible and unwilling to take care of their customers and follow through on their promises. We contracted RA Masonry to help with one of our customers who was having a settling foundation issue. The goal was to remove the 2.5 inches of slope in the living room to the NW corner of the home. RA Masonry came in to do the work as a subcontractor and was paid 50% to get the project started and 50% after the work was completed. A few weeks after the work was done, the customer called us and said the issue might actually be worse now. I went back out and took pictures (attached) of the terrible work that was done. I let the owner (Rafael) of RA Masonry know about it, sent him the pictures I took, and he said he would take care of it. I followed up after he said he would do it and

Quick, Honest, Professional. These guys put a whole new foundation under my home and informed me of everything they found that may need replaced. R. A. Masonry, owned by Rafael Almanza, is the most reliable company we have ever worked with! Our slate tile on our front porch was flaking off in large layers and the one side of the porch was gradually sinking yearly. Rafael was at our house to see our project and provide an estimate within an hour of contacting him. Material availability and everything leading up to our project was timely as was the execution of the project. We most appreciated that at the conclusion of our project, only 3 tiles remained unused due to Rafael’s excellent material estimating skills.
