Very disappointed with variance between what I was told and what actually happened. I was told 3 days and 3 guys. I had one guy the first day, and two for the next three. It took 5 days and they did a horrible job cleaning after themselves and didn't even bother to try the last night. Then they had to come back and finish a few loose ends the following week. Getting them to come fix the problems we had has been a nightmare. They are always late and the last time they were nine hours late and didn't even call or text to say it'd be later than the agreed time. When they did come, everything was fine except they got paint on my brand new light fixture, all three globes. They were painted and trying to remove the paint removed the finish as well. First off, it says a lot that Rainbow Paint Company was recommended by one of his competitors (who was unable to meet my deadline). Andy Frith is unique (in a very positive sense). When he came to do the estimate, he didn't measure a thing. When I asked him about it, he said "this isn't rocket science." I shopped around and his estimates were easily in the ballpark (or lower) than his competitors. When I needed to change the work, he quickly generated another estimate. I got into a time crunch (due to an injury) and he was able to work out a solution. His men picked up the key late one day and had done a significant amount of the work by the end of the very next day. The whole job was done within the timeframe we had discussed.
