Ray C Lapp Air Conditioning

My elderly mother came home to no heat with her mini splits at her condo in Oakland Sept of this year. She called Aaron & Rob at Lapp/Highland to help. They diagnosed her system and found chewed wires on the outdoor unit. They could not order her the part in a timely manner and gave her quite the run around. I run a very large HVAC company on the west coast and told her we could get the part direct from factory quicker and could send the part out. I spoke with Aaron who told me they could get the part within 3 days. I said ok and waited to hear. This was Oct 18, weeks after my mother had been without heat. Aaron never got the part, nor reached out to me for help. He just ghosted my mother and left her with NO HEAT. Last week, early December I finally got sick of this run around with Lapp &

Initially quite responsive to my issue with a system they installed less than a year earlier. After a few visits, they ghosted me and stopped responding. After over a 6 weeks of no contact, the manufacture Carrier recommend I contact another service provider to fix the system Lapp installed.

They performed substandard work and it was difficult to get them to correct the items I recognized as wrong as a layperson.
