Rendon Nursery and Firewood

My desire was to have a garden feel to my mom's graveside service rather than a tight, formal florist feel. Laura knocked it out of the park with stunning beauty from nature. She caught my vision, worked diligently to make it just as I imagined. A real delight with whom to work.

I visited last year around April(2024), in search for watermelon and strawberry seedlings. I found the watermelon variety I wanted, but it was a little small. So the lady helped me get a stronger one but it was a different variety. Nonetheless I went to purchase it and she threw in the weaker one for free! And as for the strawberry plant, it was very healthy and survived this past winter.(attached below is a video of the watermelon)

Absolutely love this place! Very good variety at a value. Gorgeous healthy flowers and other plants.

Running low on wood. Headed there to pickup another load today. Their splits are perfect for any midsize or larger firebox, none being thicker than your fist. Smaller backyard smokers need only saw them in half for the best in temp control. All of the other places provide fireplace splits that are way too large and cause 50°+ temp swings. If you're a serious pitmaster, this is your source. I've always had an axe on hand to bust down splits. I haven't swung that axe in over a year, thanks to this place.

Went here for the first time today while we were in the Mansfield area. They have wonderful healthy plants and beautiful flowers at excellent prices. Their herbs were $3 each, for comparison Home Depot was selling their rosemary for almost $20. The people who run this place are so knowledgeable and friendly, gave us excellent tips on how to care for the herbs we were getting. They also have a lovely little garden cat :) We're more than satisfied with our visit here and are stoked to have found ourselves a new place to purchase our plants.
