Restoration 1 and their awesome crew just helped us through a very difficult experience with a water leak that damaged two floors in our home. They were here in instant after a call to them, their crew were knowledgeable, comforting, communicative of every issue that we had questions about. They were wonderful about letting us know what would happen that day and the next day and always called before they arrived promptly on time! It’s an awesome company and I would highly suggest if you ever have the need that you contact Restoration 1!

Beware! The employees who work directly for the company were excellent, professional, responsive, and consistently went above and beyond. (The subcontractors they used were a separate issue.) Working with the owner, however, was a completely different story. When we first started having trouble getting work scheduled and completed, I asked who the project manager was. He told me it was him. Yet communication, one of the core responsibilities of any project manager, was almost nonexistent. Responses, when they came, were rare, unclear, dismissive, or full of excuses and blame-shifting rather than solutions. Issues were never addressed proactively, and there was no accountability. Absolutely DO NOT hire these people for flood remediation. Our home flooded in the December 2022 king tide, and we were referred to Restoration 1 by a friend. They showed up promptly and began doing demo. They managed to get two rooms of carpet removed and then decided they were calling it a day. The crew boss returned the next morning and informed us that they could not do the job because they didn't realize it was FEMA-backed insurance when they took it. (There are some additional paperwork hoops to jump through, but nothing big) Here's the thing: ALL FLOOD INSURANCE IS FEMA-BACKED INSURANCE.
