Revolutionary Chimney Services

We contacted Revolutionary Chimney to remove our old wood burning fireplace and install a new gas insert. Initially they responded and came right out. They gave us a quote, we hired them, and gave them about 50% down. They came the next week and removed the old chimney and fireplace insert. After that Brandon would randomly answer our calls, and consistently gave us excuses why he couldn't come back out to finish the job. Eventually he stopped responding. He bailed on the project, so we had to hire another company to fix the mess he left. We had a hole in our wall for 4 months.

Would have been 5 stars if I wasn't ripped off for a $1,000 repair that didn't fix the issue. Had a home inspection that mentioned that my chimney needed to be cleaned. Brandon inspected my chimney and said he would be taking my money if he think it needed cleaning (appreciated the honesty). I then told him that I noticed a slight leak coming from the crown. After inspection he mentioned that to fix the issue it would cost $1,000 to replace the crown (didn't question due to previous honesty). Crown was replaced and issue persisted. I contacted Brandon shortly after who said he would be back to fix the issue after the holidays. After a couple months and several attempts to contact without a response, I am out $1,000.

Brandon answered his phone when I called him. AND he showed up at the agreed upon time. Imagine that! My chimney was showing cracks some crevices that may have been letting water seep into the attic and leaving a small stain on my living room ceiling. Brandon took a look and suggested a nice, neat patch job. He could've sold me on the metal cover because I was ready to say yes, but he didn't. They sealed the mortar (probably concrete) on top of the chimney and sealed some cracked spots in the mortar on the sides of the chimney. Prompt, honest and nice guys. What more could you ask for? I would recommend this company without reservation.

I contacted this company in the beginning of October to replace a chimney cap. They came our right away and then I didn't hear from then again until after making a few more calls. I was told they would have the cap in a couple of weeks but again received no call. When I called again they set up a day to install the cap and never showed up. Since then I've tried calling and no one answers and I've left 2 more voicemails. Almost 3 and months later still no cap

The gentleman at this store is extremely helpful and nice in dealing with all your gas fireplace issues. I highly recommend fireside hearth and Home.
