Been with Richard’s since we bought our house in Williamsburg 15 years ago. I appreciate that they are always courteous and prompt with fuel delivery. When our trusty old Peerless boiler finally called it a day after years of good service we trusted Richard’s to steer us in the right direction for a new boiler as it’s such a big purchase, it was great to have such a good crew to handle it. We’ve been amazed at the efficiency of the system ever since it was installed and now that heating season is creeping in, we’re even more amazed at the Buderus system’s performance. Five stars all the way!

I switched to Richard's a few years ago after another well known local oil company sold out to a corporation. Richard's has been great. We typically do pre-buy in the summer and automatic delivery, and I usually stop into the office in person once a year to get all the paperwork and payment done, and always welcomed with friendly service. We also purchase the maintenance plan to include a cleaning and ensure emergency service. The one time I had a minor boiler issue, they responded immediately. The company has now been sold by the retiring original owner, but purchased by a longtime employee, and there has been no change to the great service. There aren't too many businesses like this left (independent and locally owned with great customer service). They are an asset to our communit

We’ve been using Richard’s Fuel since we moved up here from CT in 2019 and they’ve been absolutely wonderful. They service our furnace every year and even replaced our expansion tank the same day, when we realized it was no longer working. They did our oil tank replacement too. I simply do not have enough nice things to say about them, highly recommend.

We had a small leak in our furnace. I call up, speak to a super friendly woman, and then the literal owner shows up to fix a few hours later. The owner of a decent sized company out there making same day service calls…won’t find many like Richard’s anymore! Go with Richard’s.

Being a member of the business community means caring about not only our able-bodied citizens but the disabled and elderly. blocking a public way is inconsiderate and unneighborly.
