Rio Stone Flooring

My husband and I bought a house a few years ago that was brand new, but the countertops in the bathrooms were laminate and we didn’t care for that material. We decided to stop here and look into quartz. We found some beautiful quartz remnants, one of them called Calacutta Gold, and the other was Sunrise Vista. Both are very similar in pattern with elegant gold veining gently showing throughout the slab but not overbearing. They gave us a great price on installation, promptly showed up on the scheduled date, and hauled away the old countertops. Since we are both very picky with what we put in our home, I can tell you that we highly recommend Rio Stone & Flooring!

We were doing extensive renovations on a small condo in Gulf Shores and needed some durable countertops. We went to another larger local granite place that we'd dealt with twice before but we were not impressed with their customer service this time around so we decided to stop by Rio Stone. First off the ladies in the office are fabulous! They did a personal walkthrough with me of all the slabs and were very knowledgeable of what everything was as well as the durability. They weren't pushy at all and never tried to "talk me into anything". They even gave me samples to take home. It was a nice experience. Had a great experience with Rio Stone. The office staff was extremely helpful and professional and the installers were fantastic! They kept asking if everything was to my liking and made any changes and adjustments as needed to make for a perfect job!

We have been loyal customers of Rio Stone for over a year with the construction of a new home. Hurricane Sally did some destruction to our new home. We needed to replace our backsplash in our kitchen after our repairs were completed. After Rio Stone canceled on us twice they then told us they were no longer going to do our job because they were “going to go where the money was“ and if they even considered doing our job they would have to charge us a lot more. We would have even understood if they would have completed the other jobs that paid more and then scheduled us at a later date where they had some down time but we were not even given an option. We are extremely disappointed in this company and would definitely not recommend them.
