As a court interpreter for the state of Alabama, and as someone who speaks/reads/writes 4 languages and gets by in 3 more, I have some suggestions. First, send a responsible representative with good English communication skills with the workmen when they first arrive. Do not put that burden on them; use of translation software just doesn’t cut it. Second, show the client the color(s) and get approval before staining. They had to re-sand and re-stain my floors because they failed to check the color with me, and failed to come even remotely close to the adjacent pre-existing color. And finally, send a responsible representative to inspect and approve the final result. The workmanship was good overall, but would have been better if they knew their work would have been inspected at the end.

When I called Riverchase Flooring I emphasized that I had a deadline for the installation of the hardwood flooring. I had a special event in a few weeks and if the job could not be completed in time I was not interested in having this done. Steve Kitchens assured me it could be done. They completed the job a week ahead of time. The floors are beautiful. They blend perfectly with my existing wood floors. The employees arrived on time. When they completed the job they cleaned up and left no mess behind.

Excellent service, Excellent selection and super installation. Diana was our sales rep and Luis did installation. They have free in home measurements by your rep and you don't pay to bring flooring sample home. Add in interest free financing and who could ask for more?!

We were referred to Riverchase flooring by Brookstone Restoration for an insurance claim. The scope of work included replacing damaged hardwood flooring and sanding and staining two rooms. The installation crew was great but we had some communication issues with management. We were not satisfied with the initial results, however Riverchase made an effort to address our concerns and we are satisfied with the final outcome.
