Robertson Fuel Oil Inc

I’ve been getting Robertson’s Fuel since we purchased in 2022. I called Monday morning when they opened and ordered service, like I usually do. If they can’t come out same day, they’re out the next day. It is now Tuesday night and we’re almost empty - nobody ever came out. I called, they said we’re not “contracted customers” and the best they could do is send someone tomorrow. I said we would be running out TONIGHT. She said sorry, she couldn’t help me. I’d like to add that I ran for School Board in 2022 in Chichester School District, discussed my decision to leave with the representative that took my order. I was treated poorly by the Republican majority in the district, to the point of even removing our children from the schools. This woman I spoke to had usually been very kind, but now,

Our warehouse heater died and we needed to have it replaced fast! I called Robertson's mid morning and it was a wonderful experience from the first call. The person that answered was friendly and so helpful, she contacted their service tech right away and they were able to be at our shop within an hour! Butch and Nick were professional, knowledgeable and nice. They were able to get our new heater installed and working all in the same day, they truly understood our urgency to have heat :) I highly recommend Robertson's!

I had a problem with my heater. They fixed it and charged me a fair price. at that time I would have given them 5 stars. I recommended them to a friend who had no heat on a Friday night, and the temperature was due to go down to 19 degrees. I was shocked that they would not send anyone out, even the next day, unless you have a contract with them. So don't call them on weekend in the dead of winter if you are a new customer. It's a shame, they do good work. Well, at least their competitor came out.

Robertson is a great company! They are all professional, friendly and very prompt with their deliveries! I highly recommend them!

They come quickly but if you have to call in to book appointments the lady is never pleasant, very short with you and rushes you off the phone. She needs to work on pleasantness especially for customers who have been with them for years. Oil is expensive and a friendly voice could soften the blow and make you feel like a valued customer. Will be switching
