RS Miles & Son General Contracting

They don't honor the warranty on your roof. We have called them several times and still no one has come out to my home to take a look at the work they did on my roof. I had to call another roofing company, who said to us that the work RS Miles did on your roof wasn't done right and that's why water continue to leak in your bathroom and 1 of your bedrooms causing extensive damage. Before I contract RS Miles to repair my roof; we had our bathroom remodel. I will never ever use RS Miles to do any work on my house and I recommend you do the same.

I have never written a review of a company before, but feel obligated to do so. RS miles did our roof 10 years ago. Beginning a few years ago began to have problems with one section, with now a third episode of shingles coming off the roof. And now water damage to the ceiling in that area. Our contract has a "Lifetime warranty for labor and materials." RS miles did not return my calls for more than a month. Then finally returned call and said would come out to evaluate and help with warranty, and no showed for appointment and will again not return phone calls. Do not use this company.

I hired Rob Miles based on a referral to handle repairs for an insurance claim after a tree fell on my house. Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience. The project took over a year to complete, far longer than expected, and throughout the process, the contractor was unreliable. Despite being paid in full, I am still waiting for an itemized invoice detailing the work performed. I noticed discrepancies in the charges, with some items listed that were never completed, which is why I requested a breakdown of costs. However, I have yet to receive any response. Given the delays, lack of communication, and questionable billing practices, I cannot recommend this contractor. Even the friend who referred him has decided not to use his services again. Tried for over two years to have a leak fixed. Will not even return calls. Does not stand by their warranty. Found step flashing was not over lapping. They installed the roof ten years ago.

Stay away. Awful. Found this review online: 11/16/2018 I had a new roof put on 11/17/14 by RS Miles & Son. My roof is leaking like crazy I have called many many times. My ceiling and walls are now ruined. My bed and rugs are soaked. The water is pouring thur my light. The owner will not come out or talk to me. He has sent his employee that have not done anything but go up and look. I paid to have wood replaced and that was never done. I paid for a rubber roof that should last for 30+ years at least and that is already leaking. There is No customer service. Beware of this guy. I am 81 years old and I feel he has taking advantage of me and did a terrible job.
