R.P. Lumber

The rudest loading staff!! They will flat out ignore you and have no manners at all. If you have to deal with a customer it is your job to be courteous!! Definitely will not be getting my business again.

I have purchased wood, tin, nails, screws and other products from R.P. I have always found them reasonable priced, staff is very professional and courteous. I try to buy local when i can and R.P. is very competitive in there pricing, see no reason to shop big box stores.

I went in to the West Plains location needing a couple of things. Jason P was quick to offer help, gave ideas and suggestions ( with explanation as to why) and to possibly save me having to make an uneccesary trip back in. He set me up with what i was needing (after he did a little thinking of a better way) and took larger item to my car for me..when it would not fit, i said i would return with a truck. He asked where i lived and said it was on his way home and he would drop it off! You do not get customer service like this any more!! He was a blessing that day and i will always sing their praises. I have always had great service there but that day, Jason went above and beyond!!

People are nice but they don’t seem to take sale tags off. When the sale is over. 3 times went in the purchase some lumber. And I usually look around the store before going to the front to purchase lumber. The last time they had caulk on sale for 3.99. Needed some for my shower. So I picked up a couple tubes. Get to the front and it rings up $6.49. The cashier ask the guy sitting at the desk why it was ringing up at that price. He looked at her and said that was last week sale. Just aggravating things are high enough these days. Instead of around $8 in turn into around $13. That’s happened on 3 occasions the first time I didn’t catch it till I got home. If u can’t pull ur sale tags then sale it what the tag says. It’s not the costumer fault that you can’t get tags pulled.

This is a great place to buy Building Products. But I need to work on their pricing on the floor you might as well go get what you need and just walk up to the counter and get prices on everything that you got because the price on the floor will not be alright and in most cases there's not a price on the items but other than that it's a great place to do business all around
