Safe House Air Duct & Carpet Cleaning

We needed our dryer vent cleaned quickly before a repair guy came out. I was impressed how quickly this service got back to me, how quickly they arrived and what a great job they did cleaning our dryer vent and disposing of the mess so thoroughly. We will be calling them again to clean our HVAC ducts when it’s time! Thanks for doing such a great job and for your sense of urgency in making our job happen quickly! Great communication with the front office too, texts and phone calls. We really liked the guy who did the work. I highly recommend this company to work your vent-work for your home! Would that all contractors and service providers do such a great job all around. I’ve left my fair share of not good reviews; not this time!

⭐☆☆☆☆ I’m very disappointed with this experience, especially since I’ve been a loyal customer for many years. When I scheduled the appointment, I was quoted $199 for a whole-house air duct cleaning, and I was clearly told this included dryer vent cleaning. This was a promotional offer for returning customers, which is why I went ahead and booked. However, when the technician arrived, I was told that dryer vent cleaning would cost an additional $144. This completely contradicted the price I was given when scheduling. I’ve used this company multiple times in the past, and this is the first time I’ve encountered misleading pricing. If pricing has changed, that should be communicated before the appointment—not at the door. This felt like a bait-and-switch, and it has unfortunately damaged

Avoid this company at all costs. They don't follow Maryland's health standards. We hired them to clean our entire home’s duct system, but they only cleaned the entrances of each vent and claimed the job was complete. After their service, we found mold and a thick layer of dust still inside, exposing my wife throughout her pregnancy and our newborn in their first days to unsafe air. Fortunately, we caught the issue and hired another company to properly clean the system. Safe House refused to take responsibility, despite their website claiming the ducts would stay clean for five years. Their work was negligent and misleading and we're starting a legal process against them.

The service was incredibly thorough, efficient and professional. Ikey was the technician helping and he was outstanding! I highly recommend using this company and technician for your dryer and vent cleaning. Ikey did a superb job and I'll be using this company again in the future!

Unprofessional service. I hired them to clean my dryer vent and they sent someone who barely cleaned the vent and also left a sloppy mess behind. He could barely speak English, had a poor attitude, and did a bad job reattaching the vent cover, leaving it smeared all over with unsightly white glue and grime. When I complained, Safe House did nothing—they “escalated it to a manager” but never cleaned up the mess they created.
