Sam's Backhoe and Septic Repairs

Sam really knows his stuff. I had a leak in my old cast iron septic line and called him just to fix that spot. He suggested I replace the whole pipe since it was 45 years old. I'm glad I listened. When he dug up the line, we found another big leak by the tank that I didn't know about. He finished all the work in one day and charged a fair price for excellent work. Highly recommend!

Sam was a pleasure to work with. We had a 50-year old corroded cast iron sewer line that was buried 25 feet below ground. He used a wide range of equipment to dig it up and replace it with PVC. He did a great job, was always nice to talk to, and was respectful of the property. I will call back next time I need something dug again. Highly recommend!

My husband and I have been working on getting our patio done all summer, and we finally got down to digging out the old patio pavers. We found out we had to find someone to dig up the patio completely due to incorrect laying of the past pavers. They did not use crushed rock to lay down the foundation, and they used sand completely (about 8 inches of sand for a 12x30 patio). I called Sams Backhoe Service, and I told him the issues we had run into, and he gave me a pretty great quote for such quick notice. He came out on Saturday, and did an amazing job digging out the sand from our patio. He also gave us really great advice on how to build onto it properly, and he was really gentle with the backhoe. He didn't get rushed as we watched closely to what he was doing, and did not seem upset that

Sam repaired a float issue we were having with our septic system. He did great work at a fair price to fix our problem. Sam was always prompt to return communications and I’d work with him again as well as recommend him to others.

We had an emergency situation with our septic pump. I called Sam after calling around to another local business to come out and look at our tank. The other business never got back to me, but Sam answered my phone call right away even though he was on vacation. He referred me to another septic company that could pump out our tank to buy us sometime until he was able to come look at it Monday when he got back from vacation. We had our tank pumped in the meantime, and he kept his word and came out Monday morning and fixed our septic pump. Before doing so he made sure to test every part of the septic system to make sure he knew what was wrong. He is a very meticulous worker, honest and keeps his word.
