Every person we have had contact with at Scott Smith & Son is professional, competent, knowledgeable and kind! They fill our propane and have done needed repairs. Two different technicians have been to the house recently and both were outstanding. When we call for anything, whoever has picked up has been helpful and we get an immediate response about any questions or concerns.. even once when we had a question about ours daughters tank that they do not even fill. We highly recommend this company! Everyone there is top notch!!!

Switched to these guys after trying propane from superior. Highly recommend. They came out, switched tanks and are much cheaper. Superior put me on a plan for each year and tried keep me on. Superior, overall, had great servic,e but my main issue was cost and their extra fees they tacked on and upcharged. If you want the best deal in town with an honest supplier, you can't go wrong with going with this privately owned business that cares about it's workers and customers. I had a 90+ year old neighbor who's thermostat got stuck and they came out and saved her from overheating, no fault of theirs. No charge to her and got her situation back to where it was. The kindness they showed left a great, lasting impression on me as this happened several years ago. Thank you for being genuine.

Amazing service. Very quick and professional. Switched from Ferrell Gas, which told me it may be several weeks to refill my now empty tank, and they couldn't set me up on auto-fill because I didn't use enough propane. Scott Smith & Son came in 2 days of calling them, switched tanks, found and fixed a small gas leak, moved the old tanks for Ferrell to pick up, lit the hot water heater pilot for me, and set me up on auto-fill with monitoring in under an hour. Couldn't be happier with their prompt service.

Not transparent with pricing. Be careful what you ask them to do. Always ask if their is a charge prior to letting them come and do the work.

Prices are great @ the pump, fuel oil delivery to your home is always an easy process. Monthly billing is always on time and accurate. And yearly cleaning of our furnace is always scheduled and completed in a timely manner. All the service technicians are polite and treat you and your home with resect. Always a pleasure doing business with them !
