Sears Appliance Repair

Repair of refrigerator scheduled through Lowes Warranty. Company A & E Factory Services also known a Sears Home service. Appointment was scheduled with a window of 8am to 5pm. Numerous text confirming the appointment. 4 pm, still no show, called AI said technician assigned and on way. when they were not there at 5, AI said appointment now 4:45pm -7pm. No Show! Called again that night AI says they are short on employees and wanted to reschedule another day. Still getting messages to reschedule. I have called numerous numbers, sent text back for a real person to call, only to get thrown back into the AI loop. What a scam. I found number they provided to people on this blog thread, no surprise same AI system as the other numbers.

My heat is not working temperature is supposed to drop to freezing , technician said he would return same day went to get a part never returned, installation from the ceiling left on the floor broken step to attic

Can not say enough about just how brilliant the service provided by Eli was. Called and made an appointment around 10AM -- and he was here within an hour. Quickly diagnosed what was wrong with our 5 year old Maytag washing machine and quoted the repair cost. Super nice guy as well. The only drawback was their AI based scheduling system is a little wonky -- but everything after that was exceptional. Then again, when you consider the competition, which took two days to answer my first call -- Sears Home Services can't be beat.

Andrew was not professional in questioning whether my appliance was accessible. When I shared that I did not care for his tone and how he was questioning me, he told me he did not like mine either. I would have expected better service. I did not allow him to my home as a result as I was uncomfortable with him entering my home.

James was very skilled and friendly. He diagnosed my squeaky dryer and then he adjusted the pulley and no more squeaks! I give James a 10 and I give Sears a 0. (So that averages to a 5). James was the only human I came in contact with. No possibility of calling anyone. Everything was online and by texting to AI!
