Had a repair today. While the service was quick and fixed problem I was shocked to find out a simple thermostat that took less than 3 minutes to replace would cost $451. Wish I would have just bought a new dryer rather than get this one replaced. Only comes with a 30 day warranty. Very overpriced. Edited after owners response, I’m not sure what calling or going online is going to help me with getting overcharged unless you are offering me a refund? I researched-online and I can order the thermostat for $21.86. So by my math you’re charging for $429 for less than 20 mins of being at my house & less than 5 mins of work. I would not recommend sears to anyone. Better offer going to purchase a new appliance for what they will charge you.
I have an issue with my washer, again. its the third or 4th time for the same issue. i need a replacement. Additionally, your AI assistant wants me to set up a virtual call with my camera on. i'm not doing that. i don't want to take a day off work to do a virtual call. send out a technician who can figure out what the problem is.
Our service technician was very friendly. He explained everything as he went. He was very knowledgeable. He went above and beyond!
Tom provided excellent service. He didn’t have great news for me, but I got my money’s worth from the visit. I have low expectations for appliance service calls, but Tom gave me hope that there are still people out there who care about providing good service.
Very disappointed with the service provided by Sears and the assigned technician (Max D.). It took MORE THAN a week for the technician to even assess the dryer, as the repair appointment had to be rescheduled multiple times. During this time, I was unable to wash or dry clothes, which caused significant inconvenience. When the technician finally arrived, he failed to follow proper protocol and building policies and was difficult to communicate with. Overall, this experience was very frustrating. Please do not assign this technician to any future service calls at my home.
