Sears Appliance Repair

This review concerns a service visit scheduled under my Protection Agreement. The technician was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. He disconnected the dryer vent hose, refused to complete troubleshooting, and left the dryer disconnected and unusable. He cited dirt behind the dryer as his reason for leaving. We asked him to wait briefly so we could clean the area, but he refused and left anyway. Leaving an appliance disconnected and unusable is unacceptable and a clear failure to meet the service standards required under the Protection Agreement.

What an awesome technician. He came in with a professional swagger to get the job done. He completed the job with no hesitation and didn’t mind me asking questions. Thank you for sending him so early in the morning.

Armando did an outstanding job. He immediately found and fixed the problem, and now we finally have our old dryer working perfectly again. And since there had been several previous failed attempts, he made sure we weren't overcharged. We're glad to have our old machine back, because they don't make them like they used to.

The technician Mark was FANTASTIC. Inspected, described what was wrong with the washer, fixed the problem, gave me important information about my washer. Mark was super friendly, professional, informative. I couldn’t have asked for a better technician. He deserves special recognition and a raise.

-0 star review! My refrigerator wasn't cooling the last week in Sept. It is still having problems not keeping temp down. I have had 6 visits, different techs, ordering parts, rescheduling etc. This past Saturday (would have been visit #8) Sears cancelled my appointment and rescheduled for today 8-12pm, then I receive an update today at 10:30am changing it to 1-5pm and now I receive another update cancelling it to reschedule for tomorrow. It is absolutely ridiculous there is NOT A LIVE PERSON TO SPEAK TO especially in my situation. Keep in mind, I have not only lost hours and hours of my time but the cost of having to take hours off of work, fully restocking my refrigerator and freezer, buying bags and bags of ice for necessities in cooler, eating out, etc. Unfortunately this is a warranty
