Sears Appliance Repair

The technician was okay, but the fact that they couldn't do a line reset was frustrating. Our home warranty company was who sent Sears Home Services, we did not choose them. The repair technician knew on the first day what the problem probably was. She then said that she would have to make a follow-up appointment. Scheduled it for over a week and half later. Luckily we got a link asking us to make it sooner so we did. She came back out and told us the line had a leak but then alluded to the fact that the next repair person could fix it, she just couldn't. We assumed that meant through Sears Home Services. So we called to make an appointment for them to do that. Called her back on her personal phone because we couldn't reach a live person at the actual company and she said no, they don'

Do not waste your time! Is scheduled repair and everything seems smooth until they do not show up and you wasted your time waiting for a technician that never arrived. Also there’s no real person scheduling nor any recourse to call to find any details. Another robocompany that just can’t get the basics of customer service right. I do not recommend it and would highly encourage you to seek another service provider.

Service went well refrigerator was fixed. But I finished feeling taken advantage of. Labor costs of over $400 for 60 minutes of work seems excessive. Also $130 for a $30 blower fan just didn’t sit right with me. If price is no issue and you want something done correctly on your schedule this would work. I was looking to not pay 1/3 the price of the refrigerator to replace a faulty fan.

Chelsea G. Was awesome. She was here for my yearly preventive maintenance. She checked everything in the unit in the attic, and in the fan unit in the backyard she even gave me tips on how to maintain my line clear and clean. She was very friendly and polite, she went above and beyond I highly recommend her. Five Stars! In fact, anytime, I have issues with my AC or heating unit I want her to be the one to fix it. Mark was very kind and helpful. He gave me a list of detailed options to choose from as alternative routes which helped me decide and not overpay or take options that were not favorable for us in the long term. I appreciate his honesty and work ethic as he was genuinely interested helping and not looking to sell me expensive options. I would definitely recommend Mark and will gladly call again for future service repairs.
