Sears Appliance Repair

$466 to replace a $10 part is crazy over priced. Sending dozens of texts and emails for one repair is overkill. The emails said technician would come between 2pm and 11pm and the texts said he would come between 8am and 5pm. And the the tech asked to borrow my tools because he didn’t have the right screwdeiver.

Arrived day earlier than expected, but ok with me! He was knowledgeable, easy to talk to giving explanations about service & wartanty; helpful with purchasing a new appliance.

1. We were given a window of 8am-5pm that our technician would arrive to fix our LG washing machine, and the would notify us ahead of time when he was on his way. However, we received the text he was "on his way" while he was ringing the doorbell. 2. He was not able to fix the problem. He told us that LG would have to come out to fix it. He showed us the service bulletin he had received stating they knew this was a common problem for LG washing machines. *BUT* he stated on his work order that he repaired it and it's working correctly so our Home Warranty says there's nothing they can do. So we paid $125 for a service call for nothing to be done - which is even more frustrating considering we told them all of the information ahead of time about the issue, error codes, and model numb

Technician is useless he has been to my house five times and he refuses to fix the leak in my refrigerator he orders parts and never installs them he has caused another leak at my refrigerator water shut off valve and told me it’s not on him when it wasn’t leaking before he touched it this is the worst experience I’ve had with a repair through Choice Home Warranty and I’ve requested twice to have another company come out
