We called the main phone number to set up a service. Shoba was very helpful and helped us efficiently. We're moving across country, so setting the services can be difficult. The experience with Shoba made it very easy and pleasant. 🙂

Shame! Shame! Shame, SCL, Shame! My neighborhood has lost power for 4+ hours-5 times in the last month and a half. Before that, my neighborhood lost power 8-10 times in the last 6 months. Wildly unreliable—incredibly inconvenient. I’ve had to work elsewhere; sleep and shower elsewhere; throw away a fridge full of food a multitude of times. Give us compensation for the money we keep having to spend to get electricity in order to fulfill basic human needs. Call your state representatives and hold Seattle City Light accountable!

IF YOU DONT SEND ME A BILL I WILL NOT PAY IT. No I don't want to sign up for your online portal, no you cannot keep my credit card information on file. Everytime I have been sent a bill I have paid and they still refuse to send a bill in the mail and then they cut the electric.

I woke up on a Sunday with only partial power in my house. After trying to problem solve for a few hours and noticing my meter was blank, I called SCL. After speaking with someone on the phone, he said that he would send someone out. I figured something was wrong when the meter was blank. Within twenty minutes to a half hour after showing up the workers had run a new line from the pole to my house. It was fabulous! Within an hour of calling I had my issue resolved. It was amazing. To all the naysayers of government and how things run in this city or state, I say "shut up" because my experience was top notch. Maybe I was lucky or, perhaps, I have good karma. Either way, I'm glad that I pay taxes to live in a place where issues like mine get resolved in a timely fashion. Thank you SCL!

So great that you allow your drivers to block streets to stand outside of their vehicle and talk with people.. Not even working. Glad this is what people are paying for. Also your service sucks You take weeks to do a service hook up. Seattle city light is the worst to have to deal with
