I had a great experience with ServiceMaster Restoration in Hayward after a fire at my property in san francisco. Shazneen was in charge of my case, and she was absolutely wonderful throughout the entire process. She assisted with post-fire cleanup, including mold removal and wet drywall, flooring etc, and also helped coordinate the pack-out of my personal items, storage, and the move-back once everything was complete. Her communication was excellent—she kept me informed every step of the way—and she was always professional, friendly, and reassuring during a very stressful time. I truly appreciated her dedication and support and would highly recommend ServiceMaster Restoration, especially if you have the chance to work with Shazneen and her team.

I want to give ServiceMaster an excellent review, but while I believe they did good work, there were a number of things that make me less than completely satisfied, and I want to be clear about what those are. I recently had ServiceMaster handle both mitigation and repairs for a sewer line backup that flooded the first floor of a rental townhome that I own, forcing my tenants to temporarily relocate while ServiceMaster handled cleanup mitigation, drying, mold mitigation, and finally repairs. Overall, I rate their mitigation services as top-notch, five stars. They responded quickly and professionally to remove drywall and flooring, install dehumidifying systems, and address mold and bacteria. They completed repairs on my home due to my insurance company choosing them and this whole experience has been a nightmare, from the lack of communication to the actual work that was done and not completed properly. The project manager didn't even do a walk through of my property with me to ensure I was satisfied with the work, and they kept sending me the certificate of completion to sign before they even started working on my house. They took my bathroom mirror down and I had to question where it was, because there was no legitimate for it to have come down.
