S&G Carpet and More Elk Grove

I had a great expierence with S&G Carpet! I was very overwhelmed when I first went in, so much to choose from! The saleswoman was friendly, but a little too persistent for me. I got to take home three samples and scheduled an appointment within a week for a free estimate. The saleswoman called me five more times. But she did her job, I did purchase from them! The man who came out to do the measurements was really nice and polite. Jeremy was our installer and he did a FANTASTIC job! Tim came by to check and make sure everything was going smoothly and answered any questions I had. I bought during August when they were having a 25% off sale, and I even got another discount on top of that. I am really happy I went with them. I love my new carpet! :)

This is a review for solid hardwood floor. The demo went surprisingly well, but the install was stressful, frustrating, and disappointing. I do not recommend s&g for hardwood floor install. Maybe if I was a man things would have gone better. Many poor decisions were made during the install and S&G blamed the natural hickory wood product, but it was obviously an issue with the installation and they knew it. I agree the product is not the best (e.g., they put several 8" planks in each box, and then the installer clusters these in your highly visible areas instead of using them in your closet or as end pieces against the wall), but the issues I am writing about are specifically about the install. S&G said, "no problem, the installation is guaranteed for life or as long as you own the home," b

Being a Realtor and an independent type gal, I love to work with people and companies who give me room to do my thing! lol. My experience with S & G was fantastic. I was free to look as much as I wanted, I needed to keep the cost as low as possible for my client and not once did I feel like they tried to push me up into a higher priced flooring option. All my questions got answered and they knew I needed the install done in a short amount of time. It was not a big job, they did not have to accommodate me, but they squeezed my install in! The work was done well, the carpet looked amazing and they were great to do business with. If you are in need of carpet in the Elk Grove area, I highly recommend you give S & G a try!

Appreciate Courtney's expertise, professionalism, and follow up. I was able to tell her my needs and price point and she very quickly pointed me in the right direction, sent me home with samples, and got me scheduled for an in home measuring and estimate. No sleazy sales tactics, no gimmicks. Material was ordered and in in about a week. Flooring installers were able to install both types of flooring - LVT and carpet in the same day. They did a fantastic job, absolutely no complaints. Thank you for providing true "customer service" which is severely lacking these days. You have a customer for life.

S&again came in with a fair and reasonable price, they did the project in a timely manner, when they said they would do it. Their team was very professional, I appreciated their hard work, and the end result was greatly appreciate it; perfect.
