We recently had the pleasure of working with Sandra Hambly from Signature Design Interiors of Sterling, Virginia, to upgrade and update our home. Our goal was to transform what we saw as a dated design with aging appliances. The project began with a total redesign of our cramped laundry room. When we hired Signature Design Interiors, we had one requirement for Janice and Sandra--we needed a kitchen island that would seat our eight grandchildren. With a limited amount of kitchen space, it took some time to get the design right, but they persisted until they came up with the perfect design. Sandra and Janice were patient and ensured that we were included every step of the way.
