Sip & Dipity Paint Bar

Our office team had a wonderful and fun experience at Sip and Dipity. We had 25 non-artists come out with a painting we were proud of and, more importantly, had fun creating. Strong recommendation to do this with your team. We had about 25 people in our group.

We did the chunky blanket workshop at an inn in Urbana. It was not a great experience. The lady seemed gruff and condescending, bragging about how many of these she did but then shot down questions with the simple answer of "I don't know-this is just how it needs to be done". There was very little guidance. Two girls in our class that did crochet before gave way more instruction than the instructor. She simply sat in her phone the entire time. 2 hours in when many of us were barely 2/3 of the way done she asked if anyone had any questions because she was going to take off. She showed us on one girl's blanket how to finish the last row then packed up and left! One girl in our group realized after she was gone that she had accidently picked up one of her yarns. This place is my stress relief. Tracey Tackett is a wonderful person full of great ideas and plans. I've painted many things because of this place!

Had a get together for my sister here befire her wedding. The lady was wonderful and super flexible and the class was a lot of funand very lax. Everyone had a great time and the paintings turned out wonderful.

I went here with two good friends and we had a blast! The person who runs it is not only a very good teacher but a very good person. I liked how she gave us good instructions that were easy to follow but at the same time we were encouraged to do whatever worked best for us when it came to our artwork. She has all the colors and an amazing assortment of fun aprons that you can wear when you get there. You can bring your own drinks including wine or there are food vendors right next to her location where you can get all kinds of different things to drink and eat.
