Slims and Berthiaume in Charlton have pumped my septic many times and it has always been a great experience. They are very quick to respond every time I have called for service. One time I was particularly impressed because not only did they come right out, they also quickly diagnosed the problem and explained it to me in a way I could understand. No hard up sell, no runaround, just straight forward work at a very fair price. I also really appreciate that they are a locally owned business. One time I called with a question and wound up talking to the owner and didn't even realize it at first. You can tell they take pride in their community and customer service. I highly recommend them if you want dependable, fair, and truly professional service!

Thank goodness I called these guys for a third opinion! Their expertise and persistence saved me close to $10k for a repair another company said was required to fix the problem. (The other company charged hundreds of dollars, left a mess in my basement, and didn’t actually fix anything.) Scheduling with Slims and Berthiaume was very convenient and fast — I got a callback the next day and someone was available to do the work within just a couple of days. Price was very reasonable considering the time spent and the number of people involved. And everything in my house was left in great condition. I recommend the company without hesitation and will be using them for follow-up maintenance and all future work.
