SLR Communications

Not only do they have shady business practices, but they are constantly putting peoples lives at risk on Volusia County roads. They have two trucks stopped on Reed Ellis Road, on a blind BEND with no work zone set up. It’s a two lane road and it’s going to cause a very serious accident. And I understand that people have to work, but these guys are just standing around looking at their phones. Completely clueless 🙄

I didn't know this company existed until the methed out carnie they hired to drive one of their bucket trucks broke my windshield when he drifted into the median and kicked up gravel hard enough that it broke my windshield two cars back. He was going almost 90mph on state road 44 (speed limit is 65), weaving in and out of traffic and passing people on the right, but apparently Mr. Terry Robinson and the leadership at SLR do not expect anything better from their employees. I conclude this based on the fact that the receptionist was "really really sorry" but that no one else in the place bothered to respond to my concern or offer to pay for the windshield. I can't imagine they care any more about the work they do than they care about the lives of the people they're endangering on the road

During my daily commute SR 44 to New Smyrna I was behind two of the companies work vehicles the 1st one made it through a yellow light the 2nd one ended up through a red light doing 80 or 90 after a while I noticed the 2nd work vehicle from this company decided to Swerve on the roads and ultimately move into the right lane on a highway not properly when another vehicle was already in the lane pushing the vehicle off the road down into a ditch traveling 75 miles an hour down the road extremely dangerous Slr work company vehicle just kept driving like nothing happens during all that commotion the work company vehicle also went off the roads into the shoulder grass area on the side of the road which kicked up large rocks that hit my vehicle and broke my windshield. Seems Spectrum hired them to do some work so they needed access to our backyard where the telephone pole was with their cables, mind you, we don't have Spectrum so this was for other people's homes and not ours. I know I live in FloriDUHH but these carnival rejects would make The Simpson's Cletus the Slack Jawed Yocal look presidential. They blocked our driveway, continually left the gate open even after we asked them to close it, dinged up said gate, trampled the flowers and plants in our beds, left cables hanging 4' off the ground in the backyard and cut limbs in the neighbor's tree that hang into our yard and left them dangling instead of fulling cutting and removing them.
